Bio
Christine Linde is a Tucson-based artist. Born and raised in Arizona, Christine creates art that draws inspiration from the magic of the Sonoran Desert. Her work is influenced by a childhood of watching Western movies and a love for anything cute, which was further encouraged by exposure to modern Japanese art while studying in Kagoshima as a high school student.
Christine holds a BFA in Painting and an MA of Education from Arizona State University and has continued to explore her love of technical drawing and painting through nearly a decade of teaching Studio Arts to middle and high school students.
Christine spends her spare time hiking with her husband and their dog, Frank, reading, gardening, and volunteering to rehab injured wildlife, many of whom make their way into her paintings.
